Summer School 2009

The 5th Annual Summer School took place 12 - 14 August 2009 at THe Macdonald Marine Hotel in North Berwick.
The theme this year was "Girfec: Towards an Integrated Solution" and the school considered the potential for Girfec, Curriculum for Excellence and the Early Years Framework to form a strategic platform for children's services in Scotland.
Speakers included, David Cameron, Julia Swan, Bill Alexander and Frank Crawford. HMI Alison Monaghan led a workshop on planning a learning strategy.
