The Virtual Staff College Scotland has been running leadership "retreats" with Norman Drummond for the last three years with great success.

Attendance has been restricted to Directors of Education and Children's Services up until now. The final 24 hour retreat in this series is due to take place next Monday 17 March 2008 and Tuesday 18 March 2008 at Ballathie House in Perthshire.

Two places have come up at the last moment and I am very keen to offer this opportunity to any ADES member who would be interested in applying. Ideally you will be working at 3rd tier or above.

Norman is an executive coach of international renown. He is also well known in Scotland as the founder of Columba 1400. These 24 hour events provide a unique opporunity to reflect on your current leadership priorities and values and also how you will develop your career and your personal priorities in the future.

There is a significant cost attached to these events which is met in full by the staff college as a result of grant funding. There will be a charge for accommodation.
